Emma Wetherley

Emma WetherleyHead Teacher -Montessori Diploma (2002) BA Early Years (2012) Emma trained in Denver and London and lived and taught in Brussels for many years before returning to the UK in 2004. She is a highly experienced Montessori teacher and teaches throughout the school. She works in the children’s House in the mornings and teaches cultural subjects in Grantham Farm in the afternoons. Emma is the school SENCO and takes responsibility for the Safeguarding throughout the school.

Sue Higgs

Sue Higgs – full-time Level 3 – Early Years Education and Childcare (2011)Sue joined The Children’s House in 2000. Sue works mainly in The Children’s House, with responsibility for pastoral care throughout the school

Caroline Imi

Caroline Imi has worked in local schools for the past six years (Cheam and Kingsclere Primary). She trained as a Teaching Assistant at The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre in Farnham and is currently studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare (Early Years Educator) with the Apple Training Academy. Caroline has a degree from the University of Edinburgh in French and History of Art.”

Caroline Palmer

Caroline Palmer has BA (QTS) with Hons (1993) and teaching experience with 4 – 13 year olds.Caroline joined us as a supply teacher in 2011. In September 2012 she joined on a permanent basis and works part-time with the children in Grantham Farm, and supports the creative development of the children throughout the school. She also takes some amazing photographs, many of which may be seen on the web site. Parents may buy photographs through Caroline’s web site, all money raised Caroline kindly donates to our Eco School development.


 

Paul Freeman – Music BSc Hons Paul joined us in 2006 and teaches music throughout the school. Paul also supports our language development programme and reads with the children 4 mornings each week.
Rebecca Bayliss – part-time Montessori Diploma
Hornsby Diploma Dyslexia Teaching Rebecca joined us in 2003, she taught part-time in Grantham Farm until 2009.Rebecca is now responsible for Assessments and Learning Support on a part-time basis.
